Do I need API keys or accounts with AI providers?

No. This is the whole point of Applora. AI chat, voice, image generation, speech-to-text, image understanding, accounts, and cloud data all work out of the box. Applora manages the credentials on its servers; your app never contains a secret, and you never sign up for a third-party service.

How much does it cost?

Applora runs on credits. New accounts start with 120 free credits — enough to build your first app and iterate on it. After that, the Builder plan is $20/month for 400 credits (about 4–5 full apps, or dozens of changes), with top-up packs when you need more. Every run posts its exact credit cost in the chat the moment it finishes.

Who owns the code?

You do. Applora generates a standard Flutter project — real, readable Dart code. Export it to GitHub or download it anytime. It runs anywhere Flutter runs, with or without Applora.

Is this a real app, or a mockup?

A real app. Screens, navigation, working data, working sign-in — built as genuine Flutter code you can export and run yourself. Not a prototype, not a template with your name on it.

How do I know the app actually works?

Because Applora checks before you do. Every build is compiled and tested with an honest pass/fail, then the app is launched and visually inspected — screenshots of the running app are checked for crashes, errors, and broken or unreadable layouts. You get a straight answer about what passed, not a hopeful guess.

How do I get my app onto a phone?

Today: preview it live in your browser in minutes (and share the link with anyone), and install it on any Android phone by scanning a QR code — no app store needed. Shipping to Google Play and TestFlight is coming soon.

Can I use my own backend?

Yes. A guided wizard connects your own Firebase — with full control of your data, users, and sign-in settings — so your app runs on infrastructure you own. Or use Applora’s managed backend for zero setup, with a console for browsing your data, managing your users, and exporting everything. Switching isn’t a trap.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe your app in plain language, answer a question or two if needed, and approve a plan. If you can code, even better — the full source is yours to read, edit, and export.
